2015 Philadelphia’s Veterans Parade

Everyone is invited to Philadelphia’s Veterans Parade on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Center City Philadelphia. Philadelphia’s Veterans Parade will feature veterans groups, bands, youth and civic associations. The parade begins at 12 Noon from Broad and Walnut Streets, marches north to City Hall, and down Market Street to Independence Hall at 6th Street where the reviewing stands will be located. The parade will be televised on WPVI-TV6 ABC from 12:30 to 2 P.M.

First Pulaski Parade Committee and PAC Community Update Meeting

All members and delegates are invited to the First Pulaski Parade Committee and PAC Community Update Meeting to be held Wednesday, June 24th at the St. Valentine’s Parish Hall. Refreshments will be served at 7pm and the meeting will begin at 7:30pm.

The 2015 Pulaski Day parade honors Gen. Kazimierz Pulaski. The 2015 Grand Marshal is Mr. Wesley Musial. Mr. Musial is serving his second term as the Censor of the Polish National Alliance. He was selected by the
Polish American Congress in recognition of his many years of participation with the Polish American Congress, Eastern PA District, the Pulaski Day Parade in Philadelphia and supporter of organizations in Polonia.

The Pulaski Day Parade in Center City Philadelphia will be held on Sunday, October 4th, which is one of the many events in the Philadelphia area held in recognition of the National Celebration of Polish American Heritage Month.

Cemetery Clean-up, Picnic and Information for Pentecost/Zesłanie Ducha Świętego

Dear Parishioners and friends,

On Saturday, May 23rd we will hold a Cemetery Spring Cleaning at 9am. Everyone is invited to attend and pitch-in. We will then hold May Devotions at the Cemetery followed by lunch starting at 12pm.

On Sunday, May 24th we honor the Solemnity of Pentecost/Zesłanie Ducha Świętego. High Holy Mass in honor and memory of all Veterans and military personnel serving our country will be held at 9:30am. We welcome the Bolesław Grochowski American Legion Post 396.

Mothers’ Day and the 6th Sunday of Easter

On Sunday, May 10th we observe Mothers’ Day, the 6th Sunday of Easter, and commemorate the 68th Anniversary of Martyrdom Bisphop Joseph Padewski.
