Mothers’ Day and the 6th Sunday of Easter

On Sunday, May 10th we observe Mothers’ Day, the 6th Sunday of Easter, and commemorate the 68th Anniversary of Martyrdom Bisphop Joseph Padewski. High Holy Mass for God’s blessings to all our Mothers will be held at 9:30am. A Mother’s Day breakfast will follow Holy Mass. Everyone is invited. Please join us for Parish and Family fellowship!

Christmas Preparations

On Saturday, December 20th we will be decorating the church for Christmas. We will be meeting at about 10am in the church for cleaning and decorating. If you have some time to help it would be greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to show your love for the parish.

This Sunday, December 21st, we celebrate the lighting of the fourth candle of Advent. We would also like to do small candle light service with carols before traditional Holy Mass. Any children wanting to participate are welcome.

On Sunday the 21st, we will also celebrate the tradition of Christmas Wigilia with a brunch right after celebration of 9:30am Holy Mass. The menu will consist of fish, potatoes, mushroom soup, salad, pierogi, ham, rolls and butter,coffee and cake. A small donation of $10.00 would be greatly appreciated.

The latest issue of God’s Field is now available online. This edition features reports on this summer’s youth events with tons of pictures of the youth who participated in Kurs and CONVO. Music scholarship winners are also prominently noted. Check updates and information about the Church’s upcoming Holy Synod.

Celebrate Independence Day

Celebrate on July 4th at Spójnia Farm, 596 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA. Holy Mass will be at 11 AM at the Bishop Hodur Retreat & Recreation Center followed by a Picnic from 12 Noon to 4 PM. Music and dancing from 1 PM- 4 PM. Lots of Polish Food as well as American picnic fare will be available. Music, food and fun, for all!
